What is Laser Dentistry?
Laser Dentistry is the use of focused light energy to perform a wide range of dental procedures on both hard tissue (tooth and bone) and soft tissue (your gums). Dr. Gaeta likes to say that just about anything he can do with a dental drill or scalpel, he can do better and most importantly more comfortably for the patient with his dental laser.
Digital X-Ray
When Dr. Gaeta takes an x-ray with the computer, you receive between 40% to 60% less radiation exposure. We can all use less radiation exposure!
Dr. Gaeta receives almost instantaneous results when x-rays are taken this way. Images can be manipulated to gain more information from each x-ray. This translates into less waiting time and shorter appointments and enhanced care.
